Why Should You Attend Our Pre-departure Orientation?

Every year in June, over 2,500 students and parents attend the Dilip Oak’s Pre-departure Orientation program, one of the largest of its kind in India. Most of the Academy’s students who join universities in America and Canada (about a thousand or so annually) are first-time travellers.

The aim of this special orientation, conducted by our Founder-Director, Mr. Dilip Oak, is to provide our students crucial information and help related to travel, the various formalities and matters they have to deal with after they reach their universities. The orientation covers the following points:

You are also given ‘Get Set to Go’, a handbook by Mr.Dilip Oak that covers all these aspects in detail.

When is the next pre-departure orientation?

Currently no pre-departure orientation scheduled.

Open to all students joining US and Canadian universities for Fall 2023.

Parents are strongly recommended to attend the orientation.

Session Timings

On account of the large size of our audience, we will conduct the orientation in the following two sessions:

Session 1 (8:30 am to 10:30 am):

Students joining universities from A to S

and from Sa to So (e.g. San Diego State University, Southern Methodist University)

Session 2 (3:30 pm to 5:30 pm):

Students joining universities from T to Z

and from St to Sy (e.g. State University of New York - Buffalo, Syracuse University)
