You can take the GRE as many times as you want and then report your best score to the universities to which you are applying. However, you can take a maximum of 5 attempts within one calendar year.
Can you get admission to a top university with an average GPA but a great GRE score?
Your GPA is as important as your GRE score. High GRE scores alone do not guarantee admission to top universities.
